Dear Members

The Korean Society for Diabetic Foot was founded in February, 2013 as a nonprofit organization.
The Korean Society for Diabetic Foot was organized by professionals in various fields such as Endocrinology, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Rehabilitation Medicine, Vascular Surgery and nurses. The aims of our Society are to promote or carry out the knowledge of professionals and to apply such knowledge to the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot.
Our society has a biannual Congress in February and August.
So far, our society performed many projects including hosting annual Congress, publishing the “Korean Guidelines for Management of the Diabetic Foot”, issuing newsletters, and constructing a website. Furthermore, our society started a Youtube channel, certified accreditation of diabetic foot clinics and provided research grants for studies related to diabetic foot.
I believe that our society will be the worldwide scientific Society in the field of diabetic foot near the future.
